Specsavers Ópticas proud to support children of COVID
SPECSAVERS Ópticas in Fuengirola has supported more than 40 local families through this year’s Costa Christmas Collection campaign organised by the Asociación Hadas Caradas. Thanks to their generous customers and residents of Fuengirola and nearby towns, they were able to present the charity with a wide range of gifts to be given to children of domestic abuse victims in time for Three Kings Day on 6 January.
Specsavers Ópticas Fuengirola collected more than 40 gifts and were just one of 80 businesses to contribute to this campaign. Thanks to them and the army of volunteers, led by Kara Caradas, they were able to feed 1,000 families and distribute over 1,500 presents to make the Christmas season a little brighter for families effected by COVID.
David Bradshaw, optical assistant at Specsavers Ópticas Fuengirola says: ‘We’d like to say a big thank you to all our customers and local residents who got involved with this campaign. We feel proud to be able to brighten the Christmas period for more than 40 children in a very vulnerable situation. Huge congratulations to Kara and all the team at Asociación Hadas Caradas for the incredible work they have done. Our team will definitely be supporting this great cause in years to come.’
